What kind of cages should be chosen for caged chickens

With the development of the aquaculture industry in recent years, has been widely used in the hands of the farmers, but many farmers don't really know what the farmed chickens should use what kind of cages, choose caged chickens in cages is a big difficult, not only pay attention to the chicken breed types such as day age, consider the material and economic problems.

 

At present, the commonly used chicken cage can be divided into four types: brood cage, breeding cage, broiler cage and laying cage.

1, breeding (1~40 days of age) cage, generally use 3~4 overlapping. The total height of the cage is about 1.7 meters, the total length can be determined by the feeding scale. The feet of the cage are 100~150 mm high. The length of each single cage is 700~1000 mm, the height of the cage is 300~400 mm, and the depth of the cage is 400~500 mm. The aperture of the bottom network is 12.5×12.5 mm, and the aperture of the side network and the top network is 25×25 mm. Each cage can hold about 34 chicks.

 

2. The cage is grown (41~140 days old) with three layers, 1.6~1.7 meters in width and 1.7~1.8 meters in height. Each cage is 800 mm long, 400 mm high and 420 mm deep. Cage bottom mesh 20~40 mm. The mesh of the top, side and back of the cage is 25×25 mm. The door of the cage is l140~150 mm wide, and each cage can hold 7~15 chickens.

 

3, broiler cage, usually adopt three-dimensional cage, three or four layers of overlap, cage structure and density and breeding cage similar.

 

4, laying hens (141 days old until the end of egg production) cage. Each cage is 400 mm long, 450 mm deep, 450 mm high in the front and 380 mm high in the back, with a 7.5 degree tilt at the bottom. Front open cage door, door width 210~240 mm, cage bottom mesh aperture spacing of 22 mm, latitude spacing of 60 mm, top, side, back mesh aperture of the wide range of change, can be flexible. But the side mesh aperture for 25 to 30 mm high, is 40 ~ 50 mm wide, because this kind of mesh can prevent Qian between adjacent chicken peck. Each single cage can raise 3~4 chickens.
