The automatic egg collection system is an important part of the stacking layer cage equipment. During the collection and transportation of eggs, in order to reduce the breakage rate, the following two issues should be considered in the design of the egg collection system.

Question one:

In the process of egg collection and transportation, the eggs are moved and rolled in parallel. The soft eggs cannot roll due to their soft skin. Therefore, the stacking occurs at the transition between the exit of the egg gathering machine and the central egg drop line. Will prevent normal eggs from passing through.

Treatment: To solve this problem, soft egg removal devices should be set before the eggs enter the egg collection machine. Eggs delivered from the cages of egg cages are removed from the eggs and broken eggs before entering the egg concentrator. This can be avoided.

Question two:

After the egg emerges from the egg gathering machine, it is rolled directly to the central egg-laying line. Because the egg-extracting claw has a certain angle, the egg will collide with each other under the action of the impact force during the rolling process, resulting in broken eggs.

Treatment method: set an egg selector so that the eggs coming out from the egg gathering machine can gently roll to the central egg drop line in an arranged manner, and the eggs do not collide with each other, and the smooth transition from the egg gathering machine to the central egg drop line occurs. The egg is sent to the egg bank for grading through the central egg drop line.

The use of automated egg collection and central egg feeding systems during egg production can greatly save manpower and reduce egg breakage.
