3. Reduce feeding density

The breeding density is too high, the relative space is small, and it is easy to aggravate heat stress. In summer, they should be grouped in a timely and reasonable manner, and the feeding density should be appropriately reduced.

4. Sedation and surprise

Sedatives can reduce central nervous tension and slow down the heat stress response. Available chlorpromazine, diazepam and so on. In the heat stress, chlorpromazine can not only reduce the basal metabolic rate of chickens, reduce activities and heat production, maintain heat balance, but also promote feeding and improve feed utilization.

5. Shade cooling

Improve the design of shading, ventilation and heat insulation of the henhouse. Cooling equipment such as electric fans and water curtains can be installed. Grape, gourd, loofah and other vine-like green plants can be planted around the henhouse, which can not only harvest the fruits but also shade them. .

2. Low temperature environment control

Add ventilating ducts, curtains for doors and windows, and block holes and crevices on walls to prevent the wind from being attacked by thieves. Small-scale chicken farms can adopt more cost-effective methods such as stoves, fire walls, and flues; larger-scale chicken farms can use water, steam, electricity and other centralized heating, such as hot air stoves, water heaters, electric heaters and other heating equipment. Under low temperature environment conditions, the chicken body consumes a lot of heat energy, and the proportion of heat energy feed should be appropriately increased; winter days are short and nights are long, and one night supplementary feed should be added.
