How to make chicken cages in rural chickens?

Jun 06, 2019
Normally, the chicken cages we have seen in caged chickens are produced in specialized factories and rarely produced by chicken farmers. In rural areas, chickens are either completely free-floating or they are built with chicken nests or simple chicken sheds. Of course, there are also farmers who cook chicken in chicken cages, such as the peasant brother who is going to say this article.

Today, I was a guest at a farmer's big brother's house. It happened that his family bought a dozen chickens today and prepared to let the chicken lay eggs for his two-year-old grandson. In order to raise these dozen chickens, he also made a simple chicken cage. According to the peasant brother himself, he had never raised chicken before, and this is his first time making a chicken coop.
How to make chicken cages in rural chickens?
This chicken cage consists of four steel pipes and a wire mesh. In order to fix the wire mesh, several thin iron bars thicker than steel wire are used in the middle to weld with the steel pipe. The distance between the wire and the wire is not too big, the chicken does not run out of the iron cage, but the chicken head can stick out to eat and drink.

Inside the chicken cage, a cardboard plate was placed, but only half of it was laid, so that the chicken could rest on the cardboard, and the chicken droppings could be easily dropped from the wire mesh on the ground. In addition, the cardboard can be easily replaced frequently, ensuring the cleanliness of the inside of the cage.

Underneath the chicken cage, a layer of soil was placed to receive the chicken droppings. On the left and right sides of the chicken cage, two plastic bowls were installed to feed the chickens. For feeding, there are two long strips in front of the cage. Another detail is that the layer of barbed wire that the feet of the chicken are focused on is relatively dense, which also helps the chicken to stand on it.
